Here's what we believe about Jesus Christ, the Bible, and the Church.
We believe all of scripture points us to Jesus as the Son of God and the one who changes everything. It's through His death and resurrection that we have been given life and purpose. This sacrifice is a gift freely given to all of humanity and our acceptance of that gift makes us new in Christ Jesus.
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. The triune God is loving, holy, infinite, just, and worthy of all worship.
We believe that the Bible is God’s Word inspired by the Holy Spirit. It is a library of books dating back thousands of years, written by many authors, all inspired by the Holy Spirit. The collection of books in our Bible today were curated by the early church in a process that was inspired by that same Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit enables its interpretation and application. The Bible is accurate, authoritative, and applicable to our lives today.
We believe that sin has separated each of us from God and His purpose for our lives. Sin is the great problem of humanity.
Jesus Christ lived a perfect, sinless, holy life. His death and resurrection are what reconcile us to a restored relationship with God and others. We believe that in order to receive forgiveness and a fresh start with God, we must repent of our sins, believe in Jesus, and commit to His will for our lives. Jesus is the solution to the problem of sin.
We believe in the power and significance of the Church and the necessity of believers to meet together regularly. You were made for community.
