Here you will find everything you need to participate in our upcoming AGM for the year that was 2024.
Please note that this page will be updated in the coming weeks with the AGM Package, financials, and nomination slate for the board when those items become available.
Board Suggestion
We need your contribution to our process of populating the nomination slate for the Deacon Board here at Evangel Church.
Your part is to bring suggestions to the Nominating Committee. The Committee will then officially nominate and contact nominees, allowing them to consider whether to let their names stand.
This year, we have 3 seats up for election:
Adeola Awopetu and Walter Cowlard are eligible for re-election this year. Joshua Vandevery has concluded his six years and is not eligible at this time; we thank him for serving.
Criteria: All Suggested Names must be members in good standing with Evangel Church for at least one calendar year. You can find the 2025 Membership Roster above.
Thank you for your prayerful consideration. Please note you can submit names for consideration until 12:00 PM on Sunday, March 2nd.

We want to thank all who participated in the process that led us here. This is a process of discernment for all involved, and we thank everyone who both let their names stand in the nomination and those who felt they would decline.
We are voting to fill 3 available seats. To clarify, you can select up to three names when you are presented with the first ballot.
